FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q:Do I have to be certified to go diving?

A: No, you can dive without certification. We have some options for non-certified divers who wish to join a boat dive whether with friends and/or members of the family who are certified. You can take a Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) class with one of our instructors from the beach. After completing the class, you have the option to dive from the boat with an instructor during your stay. If you have only one day in Cozumel, we can also arrange DSD from the boat upon availability. Please CONTACT us for more options and information!

Q:I´m a certified diver but haven´t dived for a while. Do I need to take a refresher course prior to the boat dive?

A: If you are a diver who hasn't been diving for more than 18 months, we strongly suggest to take either a refresher course or take a private DM for the first day of your trip.
